Hamza Khan Makes History with Triumphant Win at World Junior Squash Championship

For the first time since 1986, Muhammad Hamza Khan, a Pakistani squash player, achieved victory in the World Junior Squash Championship. Khan defeated Egypt's Muhammad Zakaria with a 3-1 score during the championship held in Melbourne, Australia.

The World Squash Federation (WSF), the global governing body for the sport, shared Khan's winning moment on their official Twitter account, proclaiming, "Pakistani squash is back!" Khan's preparation for the championship involved a two-month training period under the guidance of Pakistan Army's Coach Asif Khan.

The Pakistan Squash Federation expressed their joy on Twitter, hailing Khan's win as a testament to his dedication and passion for the sport. They praised his exceptional skills and tactical prowess displayed during the unforgettable match against the formidable Egyptian player Zakaria.

PTV Sports revealed that the last time a Pakistani reached the finals was in 2008 with Amir Atlas, and the last victory for the country was in 1986, when Jansher Khan brought home the World title.
